Recognizing that well-maintained public spaces improve the Coney Island experience for both residents and visitors, CIDC has again contracted with the Doe Fund, Inc. to provide sanitation services via its Ready, Willing & Able program. The program has helped more than 3,000 men and women become drug-free, secure full-time employment and obtain self-supported housing.

Sanitation services are provided throughout the amusement area during the summer season, from May to October.
