Presidents Update In this Issue
Lynn Kelly

It's been an exciting summer
season in Coney Island as throngs of visitors joined us for fun on the beach. CIDC celebrated key successes this summer, including the Job Readiness Workshop Series and Coney Island's first-ever career fair, the launch of the Coney Island Fun Guide, and the completion of a key milestone in the rezoning process. As summer gives way to fall, we will continue to keep everyone informed about the rezoning process and will make further progress on key projects and initiatives.

The team is analyzing the current condition of the Carousell and its pieces, including the murals, paintings, machinery, and ticket booth. Click below to watch a time lapse video showing progress of the restoration.
