Community Outreach Coordinator Bio

Nicole Robinson-Etienne is currently the Community Outreach Coordinator for Coney Island Development Corporation (CIDC). In this position, Ms. Robinson-Etienne is responsible for managing the extensive community outreach activities connected to the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Coney Island.

Prior to working with CIDC, Ms. Robinson-Etienne spent seven years as Special Counsel and Constituent/ Community Liaison to Assistant Speaker of the New York State Assembly Rhoda S. Jacobs (Flatbush/ Midwood, Brooklyn). In this role, she advised on legal issues, resolved problems related to the delivery of social services and government benefits at the City, State and Federal levels, organized community events, coordinated special activities for senior citizens and youth and established and maintained relationships with community groups, schools, hospitals, media and corporations.

Ms. Robinson-Etienne is a proud Brooklynite who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Urban Studies from Fordham University and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Ms. Robinson-Etienne also serves as a consultant to the Flatbush YMCA and the Girl Scouts Council of Greater New York.
